CRITIQUE:

My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge their show, my first Breed Club appointment, and to the exhibitors for my entry, I was delighted with the quality, in many classes I was spoilt for choice and was splitting hairs.  Veteran Dog was the most challenging with just losing my own boy at 13 yrs, what a class, would have loved more prize cards ! Thank you for a lovely day.
BD & BIS - BARRVALE OVERTURE.  BB & Res.BIS - BARTERHOUND GEM STONE. BPIS - TIMAMSO PTARMIGAN.  BVIS - CH. BARTERHOUND WHISPER

MPD (2) 1. Kemps TIMAMSO PTARMIGAN What a lovely baby, just 6 mths old, dark broken tri, lovely head with long low set leathers, good neck and shoulders, topline and tailset, lovely round bone. Moved well. BPIS.
2. Warners AWRERIDGE MELTON Lovely tan and white of just 7mths, pleasing head with a kind eye, well balanced with good feet.  Sadly his movement let him down and in the following class he simply gave up and didn't want to stand either !

PD (3) 1. Kingslands REDCAP RIGOLETTO - 11mth old Tri, lovely head, good topline and tailset though would prefer shorter coupled. Good feet.  Although needs to tighten behind he won this class on his  free and easy movement with excellent drive covering the ground well.
2. Nashs KELSEVA THE GREATEST DAY - At nearly 12 mths old this tri boy is very mature and out of a bigger mould.  Pleasing head, very well balanced with a good topline and tailset though does tend to be a little proud of his tail on the move.  He has a lovely straight front standing and excellent movement going away but needs to tighten in front coming towards.
3. Warners AWRERIDGE MELTON

JD (4, 2ab) 1. Bakers SHERCROFT DRIVER - Really liked this young t/w, lovely head, good bone and feet, would just like to see a little more enthusiasum on the move with his head up !
2. Rodericks BARTERHOUND GARRISON - Another t/w but of a smaller mould, pleasing head, compact with straight front and very good feet,  moves well though would like more reach and drive.  Shows with purpose.

LB. ( 10) What a super class 1. Kemps TIMAMSO MAGNOLIA - Loved this t/w, gorgeous head, so well balanced, she didn't make the most of herself stacked but won the class on her effortless movement.  Another I could have happily given BB to.
2. Browns RAIMEX BUSSELL JW. - Lovely tri of a larger mould, pleasing head with a kind eye, good neck and tailset, a shade longer cast but moved well and in excellent condition.
3. Nashs REDCAP OUT OF THE ASHES

OB. (10,1 ab) 1. Kemps TIMAMSO TANISHA -  My notes say "Loved her" ! This tri is still very much a baby at just 20mths, loved her head, super straight front, good neck , shoulders and topline, moved well. So close for BB. RBB.
